Hey all, this article is a quick outline of how many DRIP tokens you can potentially accumulate from the Faucet back into your wallet. Increasing your tokens involves “claiming” your 1%.
Remember: claiming is not selling! You claim DRIP tokens from the Faucet back into your wallet, but that does not mean you sell (swap) your DRIP tokens (back to BNB). Disclaimer — I just wanted to put that out there, because there are many who intrinsically tie the “claim” action with the “sell” action. Anyway, back to the article…
Have you ever wondered just how many DRIP tokens you potential accumulate throughout your wallets’ lifecycle (from the Faucet)? Well, I hope to show (in the best way I can).
Firstly, kudos to Kelly Snook for the great work she has done to create a DRIP calculator that can track your daily journey, which includes your deposit, 1% available earnings, whale tax, hydrate/claim tax, etc.
The chart below provides an indication of the amount of DRIP tokens you can accumulate based on 2 strategies:
- Hydrate to 27397; Claim to 100k
- Hydrate/Claim (alternate) to 27397; Claim to 100k
As you can see, both strategies are similar. Your accumulation is approx 43k DRIP tokens (after tax). Many have made the assumption that the 2nd strategy (hydrate/claim) yields better results. I beg to differ. The results show that the 1st strategy (hydrate only) can actually return a better result, in spite of the whale tax. Another thing to consider is time taken. Whilst both strategies will yield similar results, the 1st strategy (hydrate only) will take you only 1100 days (3 years, 5 days) to achieve, whilst the 2nd strategy (hydrate/claim) will take you 1850 days (5 years, 3 weeks, 3 days).
My strategy for my wallet is very much geared towards the 1st (hydrate only).
